If your window time is from 10am to 6pm I suggest you eat something with rice. Because eating on that said time means you are eating on your working hours. So you need a lot of strength to sustain you on your work. And having rice is one of the source of that. And don't you worry if you eat too much because at the end of the day you will probably sweat and grind all of the food away in your body.
By the way as per this comment what are your thoughts guys about brown and white rice. There has always been a lot of debate about which one is healthier and better for the body amongst the two. I do not like to impose but I have encountered posts that talk of the numerous benefits associated with brown rice including more nutrients. If your window time is from 10am to 6pm I suggest you eat something with rice. In my country as well the white rice is the most common. It is also due to the various bans that have been put by the government due to the fact that the importation of rice leads to uncontrolled supply where there are even cases of poisonous rice being sold in the country.Everything depends on what or which kind of rice that it's readily available in your area of living. If it's brown rice, then you have to make do with what you have and if it's white rice, it's definitely what you are going to eat.
White rice is more common around here and for the fact that our federal government banned the importation of rice, makes it hard for us to have access to brown rice.
I do Omad for a year now. At first, it is also very hard for me to adjust my eating window. I normal it in the morning. A very light meal of vegetable salad. Then the last meal is a normal meal without rice at 5-6 in the evening. I did this schedule for how many months and I can't see a normal result. So change my eating again to 3-4pm. I still have something to eat in the morning because for me breakfast is very important meal. But I only had salads or fruits and a cup of tea. It works perfectly fine for me. I lost pounds real quick. And I followed that until now.
Thanks for the enlightenment. I really got confuse about those two kinds or other kinds of diet. I'm not really fond of reading. Sorry for that. I based my kind of diet based on what I think is good for me. People varies anyway. If you are having more than one meal a day, then that is Intermittent Fasting and not OMAD, because only one meal and no snacks are what we do with OMAD. Many people have great results with intermittent fasting, and having one meal and a later snack, or even two meals per day, so it just depends what works best for each person.
I do some combination of those two. Most days, I try for the one meal a day, but there are days when I am hungrier more often than other days, so when I have that happen, I will have an apple in the evening, or something similar, because raw fruit digests fast and does not sit in your stomach overnight like heavier foods do.
