Hello, jaymish! I agree with you. Have you read the article about eating fibrous foods and increasing water intake will cause constipation? The writer wrote convincing rationale why it can cause that. Because of that, I'm now confused with what to follow.I agree with the sentiments about fiber. Fiber is definitely a must have for any diet. I think its especially required on the OMAD diet. From my experience fiber keeps you full for longer. You also can't eat that much of food high in fiber. People eat more crisps then celery. I have also found that it helps alot with your digestive system. Its not uncommon with this diet to get constipation and have a problem with relieving yourself. Anyone who has ever gone through this knows its a very uncomfortable position to be in. Thats why filling up on fiber is your best bet.
True! High-fiber foods make the stomach feel fuller for hours which is a good thing. Many people consider different nutrients when thinking of a healthy diet, but I feel like sometimes fiber is forgotten! I find that when I eat high fiber foods, I'm always feeling fuller for longer - which means my urge to snack is diminished pretty substantially. We eat a lot of those fiber rich foods in this household, especially blueberries and broccoli! Superfoods!
