One of the things that I am reading about is that it might be good to mix things up a bit, so that our body doesn’t get in the same eating/fasting routine every day. Apparently, people are different, and some do just fine losing weight with just doing one meal a day consistently, but other people seem to stall, and even though they are doing the same thing as always, they stop losing weight.
This is what has happened with me, so I am working on what might get me “un-stalled” and back to losing weight.
According to what I have read, if you have a set routine, and eat about the same amount at the same general time each day, then you body just adjusts to getting that amount of food each day, and keeps your weight stable.
What I am doing this week, is mixing up the length of my fasting hours, so one day it might be 16 hours between my meals, and another day, it might be 27 hours.
This way, my body never knows for sure when I am going to eat, and some days I have larger meals, and others, not very much.
Today, I just had a large bowl of salad, and now I am drinking vinegar/water and keeping myself hydrated, with about a 20 hour fast planned until tomorrow.
I am thinking that maybe tomorrow, I will just have a protein drink or green smoothie, and then fast on through to the next day and see if that helps so shake things up a bit.
