Slow but not Giving Up

Four steps forward, six steps back is how I feel right now. But this lifestyle is what I want and will not stop until I get it right. I have experienced the results before and loved it so much. I want it to be a lifestyle. My problem is consistency but as I said before I am not giving up.

It would be nice to have an accountability partner and should anyone be interested, please message me.

I am a morning person and even though I am slowly letting go of coffee, I am at my best in the mornings, the most energy I have is in the mornings and I feel most at the top of my game in the mornings, so as a result, I choose to have my meals in the morning so that even though my energy slowed a little it is not by much and therefore in the evenings I have a lot of energy as I will not be having any meals to slow me down and therefore when I get home at night I try to do some floor exercises, yoga, mediation and a glass of water with apple cider vinegar.

I am currently experiencing some serious inflammation, mainly to my left leg and sometimes my back, especially if I consume too much sugar which is currently my weakness but I am happy with my progress so far versus last year. Baby steps are where I am right now and I know in no time I will do much more and add some more workout routine as well as add better nutrition to my diet.

I can tell you one trick my wife does to make black coffee more tolerable. If you still make coffee by the pot, try applying a light dust of Cinnamin to your coffee grounds before starting your brew. It gives a nice twist without breaking fast.

Awesome, I will give it a shot.

I usually have my OMAD meal between 12-3 pm each day. In the mornings, we go to the fitness center and I swim for an hour, so this way I am exercising in a fasted state, which helps to burn fat.
When I come home, I have my meal for the day, and then I am fine for the rest of the day, and sleep through most of the rest of the fast.
Because of insulin resistance causing a person to store fat, I stay away from most foods that can cause a rise in insulin, and this also helps me not to feel hungry as much. As long as I am not thinking about food, I seldom feel hungry now.

Wow, I love how structured you are and you seem to take a lot of rest which is awesome.

I only sleep the regular amount at night, I guess I just was not very specific when i wrote about sleeping. I just meant that by eating my one meal in the early afternoon, I am not hungry by bedtime, then I sleep all night , and the next morning, I am off to the fitness center to swim, so there is something to occupy me most of the time I am fasting.
I have been making the L.Reuteri yogurt, which also helps curb appetite, and I drink that, mixed in with my homemade kefir along with my meal each day now.
