Running and sprinting on the omad diet

I want to start running on omad and was just curious how many run everyday? I've never been much of a runner, but I want to be healthier.

If you want to add running in your daily routine, I believe you can start by adding one minute of running for every four minutes of walking, and gradually increase your running time, so that you’ll be running for twice the amount of time that you spend walking. Running is good in our health and has a lot of benefits to our body.

I think 30 minutes everyday will be enough. Or you can gradually increase how long you will run as time pass by. I suggest you look for running buddies to make it more fun so that you won't feel obliged to run for the sake of losing weight.

The best bet is just to do what the body need or is fit to do at a particular time to avoid exhaustion it would go well with the body to workout while feeling dizzy, tired or sick.so listen to your body and do what befits itm

You should run in the morning for 30 minutes, this is enough while you are keeping the OMAD diet, you should also notice if you will have some side effects.

I think a light jog for only about 30 minutes would be best but I guess that would just depend on your own limitations and routine, as I have heard that some athletes also do OMAD and I doubt they limit themselves to just a 30 minute light jog a day. Of course they are probably much more used to it and also have the benefit of being surrounded by professionals that can guide them, but as for just losing weight I do think this is enough and probably even the best balance since you don't end up making yourself more hungry by exerting too much effort and energy.

You can start slow with a couple of laps a day. You should consider your energy while running to avoid cravings after run. Also drink lots of water before and after running to make sure that you are properly hydrated. As you progress, try to make changes by adjusting time and laps. Just as long as you do not over do your body you'll be fine.

Many doctors tell me that walking or brisk walking is better than outright running. And this is because walking is a natural movement for us. In other words, we do it during our waking hours and our body is used to it. Walking for at least 20 -30 minutes daily is probably the best. It's a low-impact exercise and gentle on our hearts and blood pressure too.

As the advice from one discussion comment, it is good to be doing exercise with OMAD because it will give you strength. Lack of exercise and hunger will make you even weaker. Perhaps an hour of slow running is the maximum so as not to abuse your body with the physical stress particularly your feet. I am exempted in this department due to the injury on my calf.

I used to run as a means of cardio, but I stopped after my treadmill broke. I know that I could just go outside and run like so many other people, but I’m somewhat of a self-conscious person and running outside in public doesn’t really appeal to me.

These days I ride my bicycle instead, which can be just as intense as jogging or sprinting. In any case, when I did have my treadmill I’d run a minimum of about 10 miles a day. I honestly never felt better in my life.

Running is a fantastic form of cardio, but the only problem is that it’s a pretty high impact exercise. Over time, running/jogging can result in some serious knee problems. This is why many doctors recommended low impact cardio exercises such as cycling or going on brisk walks.
