Protein shakes and smoothies

Is it ok to drink protein shake or smoothie. I am afraid I will break the one meal a day protocol

Nope afraid not,that would break your fast,sorry....I also combine OMAD with LCHF (low carb high fat) I don't eat pasta,rice,bread,,fruit apart from a few berries,potatoes,cereals,biscuits,cakes etc but I cook with coconut oil,lard,bacon fat,ghee ,olive oil...I eat full fat Greek yogurt,double cream (heavy whipping cream if not in UK) no low calorie or diet foods as they all have sugar or sweeteners to make them taste better,eggs,cheese,full fat Mayo,avocado ,few nuts,etc all the good fats! I find that that is what keeps me going as fat satiates & stops you feeling hungry ...after a week or so it just becomes a way of life..
