How to make healthier food choices

I love that idea of quality over quantity - we emphasize it in so many areas of our lives but before OMAD I don't think I really applied that to food - but I do now, and I feel so much better and healthier for it. I'm much more considered now about what I'm fueling my body with, and it's great to see my body also respond in such a positive way.
 
I also love the ideas of this article. Quality over quantity got me really. Actually, this is my motto in shopping stuffs I need. I never thought it would be also applicable in OMAD.
 
Healthy foods are good for our body whether they are vegetables or fruits or meat, all of them are very good for our body. It is up to you whether what form of healthy diets you are going to use.
 
First of all eating junk is someone's choice so you have a right to say no to a biscuit and choose an apple or a banana .it's just like cheating on your partner it's entirely you decision don't let the stomach deceive you let the thought of Having that beautiful curvy body and abs over power you,you speaks to you body and tell it that is not good for you and surely your going ton see drastic changes and with more vegetables in your meals their is no regreat.
 
We should be health concious because a lot of food are not good in our body. We should always research or seek expert opinions about the food we intake. We should avoid junk foods and fatty foods as much as we can.
 
If we will go by the rule of portions like 5 portions of vegetables and two portions of meat etc. it would be too difficult to follow. Many folks cannot afford the right diet so to speak because the healthy foods are really more expensive than the junk ones. But there are good foods and are abundantly cheap like bananas and potatoes. It's a matter of really planning our diet by including these health foods and not being tempted to eat the more attractive ones like burgers and bacons.
 
That is truly healthy food will provide us with positive results, drinking water and avoid sodas of any kind will make us feel good and stronger.

Having your eating schedule on OMAD doesn't mean your doing great just because your following the method. Considering the quality of food you eat is essential because what you eat in OMAD shows your health.
 
Thank you for sharing this. And this is really right. Not just with food we can apply this to our daily life too. Well we have to know that we need to consider the most needed and most important too.

I think this is the most appropriate place for this motto. What's more important than our bodies? Food choices are very important when on a diest, and OMAD is no exception. Always choose quality over quantity.

Yes, quality is always more important than quality. You have to keep that in mind. Not only in diet but in a lot of different things.
 
We can actually make some simple computations in our mind if we cannot keep track of what we eat on a daily basis. As a rule for example, always go for veggies and fruits like squash, spinach, bananas and others that are abundant in our places and cheap. And if we happen to eat the bad foods or the processed ones then always keep it at a minimum. If we eat meat today, then try to eat veggies in the next three days in that way we follow the proportions.
 
I agree with this article. Not many of us consciously think about what we eat although in the last ten years or so people have begun to seriously do this.This should be the cardinal rule quality over quantity. If you are or were overweight you know that quantity was your moto. You know you could easily eat a tub of ice-cream or a packet of sweets. Since deciding to eat this way I appreciate and think more about what I eat. I can't believe I never gave it much for so many years. I prefer to eat mostly protein and vegetables. On the weekend I have fruits and some carbs. This has changed how I look and feel for the better.
 
I think eating healthy is not difficult. Its actually a choice. At first you need to let go those unbeneficial foods like junk foods and non organic foods.
Those will not help our body to be healthy. Eat fresh vegetables and fruits stop eating meat that high in cholesterol. Avoid too much intake of sugar in our body. Choose to be healthy because health is our wealth.
 
I Think You Need To Eat Vegetables Not All Food Are Not Healthy Even Bacon is Healthy But You Need Let Go Those Unbeneficial Foods Like Junk Foods and Street Food.Those Food Will Not Help Our Body To be Healthy and Start Eating Some Fruits Its Can Prevent Getting Fever So Easily And You Might Get Taller
 
For me the best and healthiest foods are still vegetables and fruits. This foods are irreplaceable. They provide a lot of nutrition to our body. It help us boost our immune system to fight diseases.
 
For Me The Most Healthiest Food Choices Is Fruit And Vegetables Because They Make us Stronger and They Give alot of Energy To Our Body and Eating a Fruit Make us Healthier and if you Guys Don't Know Fruit Make us Taller and Our Skin is Soft and Smooth And We Never Get Fever So Easily Than Before.
 
I love the contents of this article. I believe in quality over quantity. I also believe that people have the right to choose. One can make a choice to eat junk or healthy food. The most important thing is that before one makes such a choice, that they should have the necessary information. If one knows that vegetables and fruits will boost their immune system while junk foods will only facilitate illness, then they will go for the healthy choice. It is a matter of information.
 
Quality over quantity on foods is timely and relevant as of today since various unhealthy foods are released in the market which is harmful for our health. May we always choose those that are nonprocessed as well as those that could facilitate healthy processes of our body.
