Sometimes things get rough for me when on the weekends with omad. What is your best method/food for appetite control?
Hi Amanda! My preferred method that I always used was to stay as busy as possible. I tried to get out out of the house as much as possible when I first started omad. It helped to get my mind off of food and to not be around the kitchen. As far as foods that can help with appetite control, I wrote an article recently that you might find helpful https://omaddiet.com/suppress-appetite-one-meal-a-day/
I think this the best thing to do, make our self busy instead of keep thinking about food to eat. We should make our self busy while still not time for our one meal. We keep doing this until our mind become familiar to this routine.Hi Amanda! My preferred method that I always used was to stay as busy as possible. I am starting to notice I don't like desserts like I use to. I had a slither of my son's birthday cake during my evening window and took one bite and it tasted funny. I usually love red velvet cake. I ended up eating a couple of handfuls of a trail mix I made up instead. I had banana and papaya dried fruits, almonds, sunflower seeds, some dark chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds. I actually enjoyed eating that more.
