Assistance please.

Hi all from a newbie. Some info please. I've been OMAD for 3 weeks. I went straight into the deep end. 23 hour fast, 1 hour eating window. Not too difficult so far. My weight at start was 87.5 KG. (195 1/2 LB.) After 2 weeks I was down to 82.5 KG. (181 1/2 LB.) For the past week my weight has plateaued. No loss at all. :-( I've cut out all sugar and all known carbs. I realize there's some carbs in some veggies. Following suggested foods from reputable dieticians. Would appreciate any info, advice re no weight loss over the past week. Thanks all.

Hi there, I find my weight is pretty static if I don’t exercise, so I do a cardio session most days before I eat. I have a surprising amount of energy considering and I enjoy my food even more afterwards. I don’t bother to count calories and I eat pudding every day. I have alcohol 3 nights a week and still lose weight, albeit slowly now I am near my target. This is now my permanent regime having lost 30kg and enjoying being in control for the first time in years.

I hope this is useful!

Thanks Steve. How long did it take to lose the 30 KG ? Mind if I ask what age you are ? Cheers.... Mal.

Hi Mal,
Ive been doing the OMAD for about 18 months and I find it really easy to maintain. I lost a lot of weight at the beginning (about 3-5kg a month) but then it slowed down exponentially so I’ve lost about 1kg a month for the last 6 months. I’m about on target now so not really concerned but I think if I wanted to get really ripped I would have to be careful what I eat from this point. I’m now 61 and 176cm. I went from 105kg to 75kg.
Cheers

Thanks again Steve.
I'll be 73 next month. Also 176cm. As mentioned I started at almost 88 Kg less than a month ago. Spot on 81 KG this morning. My target is 78 KG. Guess I should be happy with about 1/2 KG a week loss from now on.
Cheers..... Mal.
