Actually for me, the first days weren't so bad. But after a week has passed.... I hated OMAD then. I was so hungry and I ate more then once. Now eating just once it is not hard, scary and I am not hungry at all.
Maybe because you can't eat that much calories in one meal... It probably says there but I can't open it for some reason. That is why OMAD is easy... NO NUMBERS! YAY!
I guess YOU guys! Real people who find OMAD helpful in weight loss. There isn't really some kind of celebrity or person I know that follows OMAD. I found it on Youtube but those people aren't my role models.
I did track my progress, but then I realized that weight loss determines whether my day will be good or bad. If I lost 1 pound it is good day and if nothing changed or if I gained a pound my day would be pretty lame... In last couple of weeks I am not in the weight loss mode and now I am afraid...
In my country? No, it is not. People here don't know what OMAD is. And when I explain it, they don't like it. But on the internet, it is quite popular among the dieters. Almost every person who has lost weight, heard of it.
Not proud of myself! I ate only cookies today and now I am hungry. But if I eat now I am going to break my OMAD. It is not even 13.00 o'clock. Should I eat some meat now or not?
I cannot! I tried this diet and I didn't make it. I ate during the week and the weekend was the fasting period. The first day was okay, I wasn't hungry. But the second was hard! I read somewhere that those two days don't have to be one after another (for example, you can fast on Wednesdays and...
I use this one as well. It is very good. You can set your goal and it can track exercises for me that is very important. I have lost 10 pounds with it, but now I am in weight loss plateau. *screams*
Yes, it is important to drink water while fasting! I love stories like this. *inspirational* especially for the KETO-OMAD beginners. Your weight loss is huge. Congrats, I am happy for you! I hope you'll remain as a part of our society!
Same! Weight loss is why I started with this diet. Now I see that OMAD has a lot of other benefits but that is the main motive why I am still pursuing this lifestyle. Plus there are a lot of days when I eat more than once and I feel bad in those days!
Yes, I also think that changing the food you eat is important! I guess meat especially because of the difference between (for ex.) fish and pork. The difference here is huge! Fish is much more healthier and has more vitamins than pork, so I would recommend eating much more fish than beef or pork.
I love being inside during the day, but exercise? It MUST be outside!. The fresh air is irreplaceable! In winters I get my exercise to minimum because I can't stand to do it inside. I don't have that kind of energy that I had in summer.
Yes, but for some reason I never do them! Either I want to and don't have time, or I have time but simply forget. I have an app that includes stretch exercises and those are my favorite! Feel so relaxed after.
I did and I didn't like it. I did the Apple Cider too. Literally the same thing! I did lose weight but I think it is because of the diet. But, detox drinks are good for you. My metabolism is faster now. That is definitely because of them.
I knew water is important! :D I LOVE water. Really I do. I drink it all the time. At home, school, friend's house- EVERYWHERE. I didn't know it helps the liver to metabolize fat tho. Thank you. Everyday is a day to learn something new!
I saw the same videos I guess and I tried it ONCE and never more! It has an awful taste... So I don't care how good it is for weight loss, I am not drinking that. You are welcome to try.
I kind of agree with you. Once you get back to carbs, if you're undisciplined when it comes to eating you will eat them a lot and you can easily get out of ketosis. But if you can control yourself, eat a few burgers!
Yes I have 6 family members who eat plenty of junk food! I tried looking the other way while they ate chocolate, ice cream, potato chips... but after a while I guess I missed the feeling you get when you eat carbs (it turns out I am a carb addict-wonderful ) :(
