When do you like do to your cheat days?

If you have a cheat day, what day out of the week do you usually have it? Or do you have it once a month? I am leaning towards having one day a week for a cheat day, but am not sure what I plan to do yet. If in I do weekly. I think I will make it Saturday, as it's my favorite day of the week...

Should I cut out diet pop?

Yes you should cut out all pop, including diet. Diet pop has artificial sweeteners and other chemicals. It technically makes your body think you're still ingesting sugar, so your body reacts accordingly. I recommend trying different types of teas, they're are a lot of tasty options. I like...

    Best workouts for obese people

When I was heavier I found waking around my house helped. It's not much, but it can help. Another thing I recommend is swimming or other water workouts. This should help with you knees and feet, as it takes the brunt of things off of your feet and knees. I would start here so your body isn't...

    I’m now really determined

Congrats on starting. Sometimes that alone is one of the hardest parts. Glad to hear you're cutting out sugar too. It's tough, but once you do, you'll start to feel a lot better. It depends on the sweeteners though, as I hear stevia is good to use as it doesn't do what sugar does to your body...

MIRROR - A mirror with a screen for fitness

I saw some ads for it a while back. Not sure I see a point in it. I guess it could be used to help you do certain workouts better, but thats all I see it being good for. Plus I heard you could make your own mirror like this if you had the know-how to do so.

Would adding the keto diet in, help increase weight loss while also on OMAD? I ask because keto has been increasing in popularity these days and I figure if I do keto for my one meal a day, it would help benefit me even more in my weight loss journey. What do you guys think?

    Working out for long hours

I couldn't go for that long myself. I can handle 30-60 minutes or so. I don't think I'd do 2 hours or more even. I think that's reserved for those trying to get as fit as possible. I'm just looking to lose weight and be healthy, 4 hours of working out isn't healthy for me, at least in my opinion.

    I failed again

Take a day off, and just forget about it. Sometimes we need a day to get away from it all. I've been there many times myself and when I get stuck, I take a break and the next day I start my diet again.

    Niacin without flushing

They make flushing free niacin. It basically digests the pill slower so that flushing isn't a problem. Just search niacin no flush or flushing free and you should find a lot of options.

Drink a lot of water or just when you are thirsty?

I have always thought this. What are your drinking methods when it comes to drinking water? I know weird question, but I'm curious. Do you drink a lot of water throughout the day? Or do you drink water when you're thirsty?

Do you prefer working out alone?

I prefer alone, but will go out with some friends if they want me to. I otherwise will not ever go to gym alone. I just feel like all eyes are on me.

Easy or tough workouts, which do you prefer?

When it comes to exercising, it can be tough or easy. For me I tend to do workout programs, which often times can be tough to do. But, there is nothing wrong if you want to do easier workouts. For easier, I say workouts like; walking, power walking, cycling, swimming, and general fitness...

What do you do with your old clothes after losing weight?

I usually keep them in case I get fat again. Lol just kidding. So far I haven't done anything with my old clothes yet. But we have a St Vincent DePaul store here that accepts donations, so some lucky guy or gal is going to find some nice clothes in their sizes. But yeah, now I need to look for...

    Boot camp style workouts

Has anyone here done those boot camp races or obstacle courses? I'm kind of tempted to give it a try as in the spring and summer we do that a lot around here. I've never done it, but am considering it next summer.

If you stop omad, will you go back to it?

I don't think I will ever stop doing omad. So far I'm used to it and I feel good doing it. If I were to ever quit, I would probably go back to it eventually.

Should you do omad for life or do it temporarily?

I think it may be something you should do for your whole life. I see it this way; you're not done when you get to your goal weight. You still need to keep the weight off. So I think omad should be done for life, or until you find an alternative that works for you. I'm sticking with omad as I'm...
