How long should you do omad?

You can do it for life or during a short period to lose weight. It really depends on your lifestyle and if you can handle a lifetime of this. Once you get used to it, it's really not a problem. So you can do it either way. I know people who do it for a few weeks and then go back to their normal...

Where do you buy your supplements?

My local Walmart and Target. I also have a Snyder's drug store in town that sells some, but their prices are really high. I only go there if other stores are out, as a last resort.

MIRROR - A mirror with a screen for fitness

I think they aired a commercial during the Superbowl this year. I think it's pretty cool, but it's not something I really need. If I had the money, that'd be different, but I don't think I need it. I can see why people would buy it though. If it works for you, awesome!

Would it be bad to have my one meal at breakfast?

It comes down to whether you can handle the rest of the day. I prefer in the afternoon sometime. I don't crave food until later in the day anyway, so it's never been a problem. But, eating earlier in the day seem not so fun to me lol. I think you'll crave more if you eat earlier.

What are your goals for the new year?

My goal is to try new food. I've been eating the same stuff so much, that I am in need of trying something new. Of course it will have to be healthy. Other than that, I just want to continue being healthy and having fun with life.

What happens to your body when you drink soda

Sugar is the key issue with most soda. I wouldn't even drink diet soda, as the artificial sweeteners cause your body to think your still getting that sugar. My motto is, to just not drink anything that's full of chemicals.

    Start with walking

Walking is a good start. By keep in mind that some people may not be able to walk. I think the best workouts to do are water workouts. Especially if the person is heavily obese, has bad legs, knees, joints etc. Or I disabled, water workouts are a good start. I highly recommend it.

    Working out for long hours

Working for long hours is fine, but keep in mind, that it will require you to eat more food as well. OMAD doesn't always work when working out so much. Your body needs fuel, and if you only eat one meal a day, it may not work out for you. It's probably better to do shorter workouts rather than...

Would Keto increase weight loss on OMAD?

I've heard that doing keto as well as doing omad can pose great benefits. I haven't done so myself, but I hear it works combining the two diets. The idea behind Keto is to eat certain foods high in fat, but with high amounts or protein and low carbs. As long as you follow that, and eat just the...

    Working out while injured

I don't think it's a good idea to workout while injured. Well, I suppose is depends on the injury, so if you're safe and aren't doing any workouts involving the legs and feet, you should be fine. Take it easy though. I have not worked out while injured. I hurt my back some years back and I...

Mostly pop music, stuff like Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, some classic rock and so much more. Anything that has a rhythm helps.

    Ugh, my progress so far

Good luck on your journey through omad. Once you get things down and are used to the changes, you will be a champ in no time. It'll be a challenge to eat just one meal a day, but it's worth it once you get through the motions. Good luck, and welcome to the omad diet forum.

How many supplements/vitamins, etc do you take?

I don't really ever use supplements or take vitamins these days, as I usually get my needed intake of vitamins and minerals in my diet, but I was wondering about how many supplements and or vitamins do you guys take for your diet or maybe even your health?

    Winter workouts

Back in my hometown we would make sculptures out of snow. It was a good workout as you had to do a lot of chipping and chopping just to get the right style. Also snowshoeing is a solid workout. I try to do it every year.

What do you do with your old clothes after losing weight?

I give them away or throw them out. I try not to throw them out anymore, as I'm sure someone could use my old clothes. Maybe it's time I do some spring cleaning on some of my old clothes. Still have a closet full of them. Also, if you're short on money, you could sell the clothes instead.

If you stop omad, will you go back to it?

I know some people quit diets after a while. And I was wondering if anyone here has stopped doing omad? But then, got right back into it? I have been doing omad a while now and wouldn't dream of stopping. But I know some people can't handle omad and do quit. If you quit though, do you think...

Workout with music or tv on?

Music for me mostly. I don't like to watch TV much if I'm just on a workout machine or something like that. Music is what keeps me into it. Gets me motivated.
