When did you start losing weight?

It's been a year passed since I started my diet plan. I was very fat at that time so people around teased and insulted me. I was so depressed because of those words they thrown at me. I lost my confidence because of my weight and my clothes were too small for me already so I have to buy another clothes. From that time I challenge myself to be active in activities such as zumba, running, go to an adventure and trekking and of course start my diet plan. I am very happy with the result as I lost 30 kilos now and Its a big achievement for me. How about yours?

I am really satisfied with the body that I have achieved ever since I have known OMAD. This diet really helps to cut out some weight and unwanted fat. I lost weight when I started this diet and since then I have gained self respect and really thought of caring for my body and staying fit.

I have been losing weight on some constant levels but after I started being on this platform I was able to control and maintain it. When I want to lose a certain number of pounds per month I can set a target and achieve it.

I was a skinny girl and I only gained excess weight when I was around 40 years old. I really don’t remember exactly but what I remember was when friends tell me that I was getting fat. All right, that was the time to admit my situation. My first diet was the no-rice because it is the easiest. Rice is our staple and that is not really an easy diet when you are already feeling empty in the stomach whenever you finish eating. I had tried a variety of diets and until now that I am turning 56, I am still in need of a foolproof diet. I hope OMAD is the answer.

Actually, we are the same. My day is not complete without rice the same as people in our country. A diet with no rice is common here so mostly folks here when they are taking a diet they tend to avoid rice. I think its very common to gain a lot of weight when you reach that age since people from that age are not active in outdoor activities and also parents are more focus as being house wife and taking care of their children or working as regular employee for their needs so they don't have much time for themselves. Being healthy is what we need so I think we can still work more on that even if you have busy schedules. I know there is time for everything, what we just need is the correct way of managing our time. I hope OMAD diet will really help many of us to become fit and healthy as well.

Well, its nice to hear that some of you, people, who taking the Omad diet do help you in achieving your target weight which inspires me also to continue my dietary plan and follow the Omad diet.

Yes, losing weight will really helps you not only in building a confidence but also gaining a self respect. Taking care of your body means you value and love yourself which is important in each and everyone of us. Being satisfied with our body is what we really need by achieving our weight and staying healthy and fit. Lets not also abuse our body if you want to live more longer.

I agree a hundrend percent with what you said over there. I always think that the person with the biggest responsibility in my life is me. My body has to be perfect for me to also tackle all that I have to accomplish. Diet helps to maitain both shape and health which is why I am here.

It may also be about the age factor. We tend to lose metabolism as we grow older. That's why some people tend to gain weight suddenly around their 30's and up. But a healthy lifestyle can definitely improve our fitness and body figure.

That's great. Sometimes a simple diet is better than one where you're unable to maintain it. I like that we get to eat one meal a day and really think about what we want to eat.

I must confess that it's not been easy being on the road to losing weight. You have to be very careful about what you eat, how you eat and when you eat. Saying no to a lot of things that under normal circumstances are very tasty for you to enjoy but for the fact that you are looking at losing weight, you can't enjoy those things. I have been on diet for at least 3 years now and I'm so proud of how I have become.

Its been just over one year for me. I have been over weight all my life. I decided to finally do something about it. I have decided to life my best life now and that includes being healthy, fit and strong, the extra weight does not advance this goals at all.Loosing weight despite all the denials is more expensive then eating junk and sitting on the couch, thus the obesity epidemic. This is one of the reasons I decided to go on OMAD. I also work out at home to avoid the expensive gym membership.I think that you can do OMAD all your life and when you need to. That's the best thing about it.

Well said, @jaymish , and I totally agree with you about taking charge of our life and our weight so that we can be the best person healthwise as is possible.
I also believe that OMAD is going to be my style of eating for a long time, and then some sort of intermittant fasting to maintain after I lose the extra weight. It is a lifetime way to eat.
Possibly, still one meal a day, just for all of the extra health benefits, but with more variety of foods, since right now I am just doing low carb foods during the eating window.

Omad has been a blessing to people that I know as they have tend to look fit and losing weight from it. It is interesting to note that you are going to enjoy quality meal when you are doing Omad as well.

Yes! Only ourselves can help us achieve our goals and achievements, not other people. Its our own responsibility as this is our own body. Others can support us but not to the point that they will carry our responsibilities. Actually you don't need to be perfect, as long as you do your best as you can, and you are satisfied with what you have achieve then that's close to perfect. As long as you are happy and confident then that's alright.

That's great! Just continue what you are doing. Actually we are on the same edge, I also work out and doing zumba at home than going to gym. Its more convenient for me than going to gym which is quite expensive.

I have always been on the big size it like it was difficult to shake off the baby fat because I grew up chubby ,so right from high school I knew I needed to lose weight so I started looking for ways to do so.I have been exercising like forever now.But started OMAD early this year.

Yeah you are right. As you get older you, your metabolism will become slow because your muscle mass decreases which turns into slowing down the rate of calories burn and women tend to have greater body fat than that of men of the same age so men will more likely burn more calories since they have more muscles than body fat. Genes can also relatable to this.

That's interesting. Genes play a huge role when it comes to our overall health and appearance. Like how likely we are to get sick and have certain diseases. It's sad but it's how science how works. Some people are naturally more likely to live longer. Others have to be more careful as they're more susceptible to physical conditions. :)

I also believe that we have numerous imperfections. However I do not see this as the reason to which we should fear tackling things and new ideas. It is only by getting out of our comfort zones that we can be able to achieve anything.

Yeah! that's true. It's sad to think that we cannot control our lives, on how our genetics works on our body and we can't do anything about it. Since we are different from each other especially the life span of each and everyone of us, there are people who live longer and there are folks who experienced sicknesses, diseases then die at the young age. It maybe sad to hear that but that's the fact and that how we live in this world.
