What Plant based Dish do you eat Daily?

I'm not a vegetarian but when I don't want to have any meat for any reason whatsoever then beans, cabbage and shredded carrots is my staple diet. To save time I usually cook them together but that doesn't necessarily mean the meal won't be tasty. Occasionally I'll have the beans with rice noodles but I don't do it often since I don't like the taste of the latter.

In our country, we have this dish called sinigang. It is more popular if it is cooked with pork as its meat. For me I prefer substituting shrimp to pork. Sinigang is a Filipino viand. It is a sour soup of various vegetables like eggplant, string beans, radish, tomato, sweet potato tops, and river spinach. It is loaded with many vegetables as you can see. That is why I love this viand as my plant based dish in my OMAD diet.

Sinigang has a leafy ingredients called kangkong or water spinach in english. It has also radish and egg plants and sometimes you can put okra. This really craves me a lot as it has vegetables that I really like such as eggplant. It has pork, although pork has a lot of calories but eating vegetables alone and its soup with rice is enough for me, even if I don't include pork.

My go-to dish is roasted mushrooms with garlic, if you're just starting out on the vegetarian or vegan diet it's a good food to eat because mushrooms are often used to replicate the taste and heartiness of meat. Plus mushrooms roated with garlic is absolutely delicious and a great dish to eat now that it's starting to get colder. Be careful with the butter though, otherwise you could add a lot of unnecessry calories to the food!

I usually eat vegetable salad. I love making it as my snack after meal. It is very healthy and helps me to have a glowing and fair skin. I incorporate it with my diet and I can say that it helps me reducing weight.

Welcome to the OMAD Forum, @healthychick1981 , and it looks like you are a vegan which is great ! We don’t have many vegans here and it is always nice to have a variety of opinions and ideas.
I think that you are right about mushrooms being a good substitute for meat, and I also like the veggie burgers made with beans. I have tried both red beans and black beans, and I actually prefer the taste of red beans.
I am thinking that many adding some minced mushrooms in with the beans would make an even better burger ?
I am not vegan, but usually eat mostly plant-based foods, although I do also eat some meat, eggs, and dairy.

I enjoy eating some green vegetables and some form of pumpkin leaves cooked together. My mom used to tell me that those two leaves have got some nice nutrients that nourishes the body and that is the reason I take it when I am doing Omad.

To be honest, I don't eat beans, I've never really liked them and going vegan didn't convince me to eat more of them either lol. If I'm eating a vegan burger I tend to go with the Impossible Burger in restaurants or the Beyond Meat products. They've got crab cake ones that are absolutely delicious and helped make the transition to being vegan a lot smoother of a process! The beyond meat burgers use a pea protein, I'm pretty sure so maybe try adding a bit of that too?

Being vegan has been an interesting process and if anyone has questions, I'm happy to answer! I will say the two things I do that aren't vegan is eat honey and drink milk but that's for health reasons (honey- because I live in a very polluted area and have a sore throat often, milk- because it helps your body with maintaining lower iron levels)!

Well, in my country there is a huge number of people who do not consume any kind of meat and therefore there is a greater use of vegetables and fruits in the normal diet. Although I am not a vegetarian, I do like to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables in my everyday diet. Cucumber, Avocado, Mangoes, banana, Cauliflower, Okra, Sweet potatoes, are amongst my most favorite fruits and vegetable that I do consume on a regular basis.

One of my favorite way back then is bitter melon. from time to time, I bake it with smashed garlic and slices or tomato. The usual vegetables I eat on a daily basis is potato, spinach, lettuce, tomato and cucumber. There are times that I consume them in the form of as a juice (excluding potato), make it as a vegetable salad or incorporate it with any lean meat after it is baked. It really makes my plate colorful to look at.

I usually have rice daily. Rice goes well with a lot of foods and it's filling. I love rice. I also like Brussels sprouts and spinach, and sometimes sweet potatoes. Lately I've been having banana and chickpeas daily too.
