Using the stairs for exercise

I do this almost everyday at school because we don't have an elevator even though we have four floors in total. I always make sure to walk on my way to school as well just to burn some fats. Although it's a bit tiring to walk on the way and the climb the stairs until the third floor. But, I don't care about being tired anymore because of the benefits I can get. Also, we have long stairs at home and it kind of helps me to burn fats as well because I always go up and down almost 20-30 times a day.

i go up and down a few floors a day
its not much but if i do too much
i cant do any the next day
so i do what i can
in the hopes someday i can do more

I did stairs exercises at home, where I would go up and down for half an hour and I was exhausted after! I gave up and did some normal leg workouts (jumping jacks, Leg ups ). But I noticed some difference with the stairs. As for school, our stairs are too small to walk on them the entire day.

Have you ever had an event where you had to do several exercises on the stairs as you have fun climbing up and down. I can alternate between running up or down and skipping some of the steps just to add some spice onto it.
I did this too. When I am not wearing a skirt in going to the office. I skip and do some hand exercises while walking. When I reach a floor, I do some stretching when it is still early. My friends would join me at times too.

Actually when I go up or down the stairs at home, I always skip 1 step so that I could exercise my legs everyday and plus it makes me reach the second level faster and vice versa. Maybe that's the reason why I have toned legs and thighs. I literally use our stairs all the time and sometimes I intentionally get the things I need one at a time so that I could go up or down just for fun. It's like having a cardio exercise at home everyday without noticing it.

It is always worth going on a run for atleast 500 metres or so depending on the stairs steepness and length and also on h0ow long you do it. It gets the blood flowing and keeps the legs active such that even when you take a long walk it is difficult to feel strained.

When I was in college, I’d get a quick workout routine every morning by taking the stairs. Our college had eight floors on it, and all of my classes were on the top floor because that was the Graphic Design/Advertising department (which is what I majored in). I hated taking the elevators because they were either always out of service or incredibly overcrowded, so I just made the decision one day to only ever take the stairs.

The first few times honestly felt like I was going to get a heart attack, but after a week of taking the stairs I was actually making it up faster than the people taking the elevator. Sure beats coffee when you’re trying to wake up in the morning.
