Swimming is best exercise

I agree swimming is a really good sport to improve your lung function. I swim to releive stress and also to fill my weekly cardio workout routine. I prefer swimming instead of jogging becuase jogging puts pressure on your legs, at the end your day your legs get sore, but when I swim I use 4 diffrent strokes freestyle, butterfly, backstroke, and breaststroke. These 4 strokes workout my whole body and at the end of the day my whole body is sore.

I agree and this is actually why people who are extremely overweight are advised to do exercises in a pool first as they get their weight down to an amount where if they jog they won't be putting too much stress on their legs and joints anymore. What I also like about swimming a lot better than most other exercises is that you get more a bit more workout in terms of being able to exercises your whole body as compared to just your legs when you jog for the same amount of time.

In the past two months, I have been to the swimming pool four times and I have to say that each time that I am done with swimming, I always feel the effects all over my body. Swimming is always going to bring better physical shape to you especially when you combine it with running on the treadmill.

Swimming is the best exercise indeed! I heard a lot about this, based on my experienced everytime I go to pool or a beach, I may not be doing swimming the whole time when I'm in the water I just go with the waves. And when you go out of the water you will feel that you are very light, you may be loose a pound because in water your movement is not the same in the usual ground. You cant move fast in water, the movement in water is slowly and you have to extract some force to execute a movement. That is why in swimming you use all your muscles in the body for you to move, plus exert some force for you to swim fast.

I think it's true as I know someone who lose weight because of swimming. She recommended me to go swimming lessons as it easily burns out the calories and fats in our body as she said. Water makes us use our force to move our whole body since water has a dense so its kind of heavy or we tend to move slowly than normal when we are in a water. The more we force to move the more calories we burn.

Not exactly to lose weight but swimming is the best exercise according to our physician. Almost all the body parts are moving when you swim and you are not easily exhausted unlike when you are running. However, it’s not easy to go swimming frequently unless you have your own pool. It is also expensive because you don’t go swimming alone. Anyway, for those with access to a nearby pool, you are lucky if you can use the pool at least every other day.
I haven't heard a professional say that it is the best exercise. But when I think about it, it actually is. You are using every part of your body and it is less tiring than running. The only downside to it is not accessible to everyone. I don't have a pool in my place so I would have to go outside and pay for it. The problem here is only resorts have pools and it is not open for everyone. Some resorts only open it for guests.

I like swimming. When I was younger I used to attend swimming class but wasnt able to continue it because of health issues. This time I can already do swimming and other sports. Lucky me to survive the illness. Anyway, swimming is very good cardio exercise. Exactly, we don't feel exhausted while swimming because of the force of the water. And because of that we can do swimming exercises longer.

This is very true. Five years ago before I transferred in my current location which is in the city, I always swam in the sea which is just a few steps away from our house in the province. I remember being very energetic before and I didn't have problems like being easily tired and whatsoever because I always swim lie 3 to 4 times a week. Hopefully, I would be able to swim again next month for my Christmas vacation because it's almost a year already since my last swim.

I believe that swimming is not the best exercise that we can have because it, basically, cannot address every single fitness problem that we have. However, I think swimming is a good exercise because it doesn't just help us burn calories but, at the same time, we are enjoying for it is a fun activity. We cannot feel any sweat and it is very cool.

I definitely agree, swimming is the best exercise it helps a lot in your body. Swimming is a way to fit cardio into your workout routine without putting stress on your bones, joints and muscles. This is a plus for swimmers of all ages and body types, but it's particularly beneficial for people with arthrities. It's one of the best ways to stay active while taking care of all parts of your body. This is one of the reason why swimming is the best.

Hello!

Oh yes, swimming is an amazing exercise (and a fun one also). I must say, however, that swimming takes a lot of strength, and afterwards you'll be very exhausted. So make sure to have a diet with a lot of protein in it, because your muscles will be stretched and "hungry" for food constantly.

Would be nice to have your own pool at home, haha!

I like swimming and if only there's a nearby pool around us, I will always go there and swim. Since you mentioned it as the best exercise, I totally agree with that. All of our body parts are moving and on the same time, our body coordination improves. It might help our body to lose some carbs for us to lose weight. Swimming is a fun and healthy exercise.

Swimming is a very good exercise. I make out time every weekend to go for swimming because it's very good in helping me burn a lot of calories.

One thing I love so much about swimming is that it affects my entire body unlike some other workouts that are targeted at specific body parts.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any indoor pools in my town, but that’s why I take advantage of the outdoor pools during the summer time. I love swimming and it’s a shame that I can’t do it as a daily exercise. I can see that swimming is one of the best exercises since there is just about nothing more tiring than a day at the pool.

One of the other benefits of swimming is that it’s such a low-impact exercise. Jogging or running are both terrible for your joints, particularly your knees. You don’t have to worry about wearing down your joints when you swim!

Swimming and running have both been touted as the best exercise and I don't do either. Can't swim and don't run unless there's a fire. However, you might be able to convince me to try dancing. :)

You don't even necessarily need to swim, you could walk around in a pool or lake and it would be better than doing those exercises outside of the water. Some community centers and pools now offer water based classes like zumba, yoga, or other types of normal land-based activities that you might find enjoyable. The reason that swimming is so good for your body is the low-impact nature of it. There's not the harsh demands of gravity or the pounding on a hard surface that makes other types of exercise more difficult.

If you cannot find a local pool that's reasonably priced in your area, try asking any country clubs, high schools, or colleges that might be close to you, as well as any hotels that have a pool. Often times the schools will have memberships for the local members of the community and sell them at a discounted rate. Many hotels and clubs may offer a cheap day pass or, if the hotel is nice enough, offer free use of the pool with the purchase of a beverage or snack. Check out spas also, some of the nicer ones may also offer a cheap ticket to use their pool! Some of the colleges and spas near where I live offer water dancing and yoga classes in their pools, one even does a pool yoga clasa followed by a very nice brunch that's perfect for OMAD!

Yeah, swimming is great! But I tend to pull my muscles much easier when on OMAD for some reason. Perhaps I lack calcium?

I don't really spend a ton of time in the pool, but using a form of resistance (like pool workout tools) is fantastic. And of course, general swimming for endurance and muscle strength. Swimming wears me the fuck out but it's worth it.

I agree to this, because it makes you work all of your body parts when you're swimming. Plus, this helps people who has breathing problems like asthma. It can be a daily routine whenever you wake up first thing in the morning and you would go for a swim, it would be good if you have swimming pool on your house or near the place where you live. I mean most people likes swimming in a pool especially when the weather is warm. I would love to this in my daily routine but sad to say I don't have swimming pool in my house or a place near where I live.

Swimming is told to give you a body of Apallon, the greek God. This saying is out there for a reason. Overall, swimming is not just healthy, but also fun. Even due to overall weakness on first weeks of OMAD, I did go to swim to our local pool to burn extra fat.

Yes, definitely. I also love to swim even though I'm not that good in it but I really love the fact that I'm exercising without a drip of sweat. I also love the coldness of water which is very refreshing.

I hope that I can earn a lot in the future and afford to by a house with pool.
