I've been in OMAD diet for three months already and I am very thankful I stumbled on this kind of diet. It really works for me and fits my every day, but of course there are numerous times that I was discouraged because of some people who talks negatively about the diet. If you are determined of our goal, then no one can stop you in achieving what you want.

I am new to OMAD diet. I can say that it is doing well to my body. I need more research about this diet. I am glad that I found this site. It really helps a lot for me.

I am just starting my second month of OMAD. At first, I read about the benefits of intermittent fasting, so I started doing that with a fasting window of 16:8, and I had my eating window from 8am-4pm.
Then , I read about working out while you are at the end of your fasting window, and when I started doing that, there was only one meal left, so I made the transition into OMAD, and it is probably the easiest plan that I have ever tried to follow. There are really no rules except to fast and only eat once a day, so none of that complicated calorie counting, or figuring out what to eat for 3 small meals and a healthy snack, like most diets expect you to do.
This will be a lifetime eating plan for me.

Same here. I'm on my second attempt, and thankfully I am used to it and I am seeing the good results :) I was able to wear my old shirts and shorts confidently.
I'm glad you decided to try it once again, it's for your own good and health.
Keep it up :)
I totally agree with you! Before I always wonder on when will my clothes will fit my body again, good thing that I found this diet. Even though I just started 3 weeks ago, I could say that there are really changes with my body and I'm glad about it! I hope that more people will come to this because it is really an effective diet.

Doing OMAD 2 months right now. It should be more than that but I stop my first time trying it. And here I go again trying and staying long for this diet. It seems good with my health so I am staying doing OMAD.

What do you usually do if there are foods that tempting you to eat? I am sure during your first week of doing OMAD was not as easy others have experienced so what was the first week like? Did you cheat also?

Actually, I didn’t have that much problem with hunger, even when I first started.
I ate during the day, so I wasn’t hungry when I went to bed. The next morning, I had a cup of coffee with heavy cream, and that kept morning hunger at bay, and then I went to the fitness center for a couple of hours.
By the time I got home and made something to eat, it was time for my eating window again.
Since I have been eating low carb foods, I don’t trigger insulin, which causes the hunger pangs. It just seems to all fit together, although some days, I have more noticeable hunger than other days, and I plan my meal accordingly.

I was 110kg three months ago but now I'm at 100 kg. When I joined this forum I learned many things to everyone. Omad diet really help me to be fit and healthy and I am really glad I found this forum.

I am just wondering if you put sugar on your coffee? I just started doing OMAD and it really hard for me but I keep on going because I have goals. Can I eat a lot in one meal?

I didn’t add any sugar to my coffee.
I am doing keto OMAD, so even if it were during my eating window, I don’t use sugar, or sweetener. When you are having coffee or tea during fasting, it is okay to have it with a bit of heavy cream because it has very few carbs and will not take you out of your fast, providing you aren’t drinking a lot of cups with cream in it.
One teaspoon of sugar has 4 carbs, but two tablespoons of heavy cream have barely 1 carb, and it has healthy fats that help to keep your tummy feeling satisfied.
Whether you can have cream during fasting is one of the things that people have different opinions about, but most say that it is okay as long as you are not doing it a lot during your fast.

As far as what you can eat in one meal, that seems to be different from person to person, depending on your age, your activity, and other factors that might affect how much food you need each day.

@Happyflowerlady really appreciate your tips. I will definitely keep those in mind keep doing OMAD diet. I have learned a lot from you. I will not use sugar anymore because of the bad effects of this in my body. I also found out the reason why my tummy has lots of fats.

I am into the last part of my second momth. I started like four months ago but inconsistencies in the first two made me to assume that they were my periods for adjusting and getting used to the OMAD.

I started 82 days ago. Never cheated, never needed to. I drink a lot of water, coffee or tea when I have hunger. What I love about it is, they’re no restrictions, other than omad. When I get hungry, of course I drink some water, and I think of the great meal I’m having for dinner. For me, there was things I hadn’t eaten for a very long time ( pasta, bread, potatoes, etc). Not anymore! The weight comes off 1-2 lbs per week, but it’s the health benefits you feel and see as your eating like this.

Thanks for the poll, I voted.
My longest omad diet was less than 30 days, sadly. I just couldn't resist from not going back to my regular rations. But I must say, that overall I felt better when I was doing omad. I was hoping I could do it one more time, and for a longer period. So I'm gonna have a 2nd attempt soon, hopefully.
