Welcome to the forum @bigjoey38. I hope you enjoy your stay and learn more about how to get the best out of your diet plan and intermittent fasting.

My advice for you is to set easier goals and take things easy. It's going to help you not quit even before you started.

Welcome to the forum. First and foremost is to have a goal and clear mind of what you want to achieve. Restraining yourself from eating what you want is not easy.

First day today... Can black coffee and/ or broth be use during fasting time?

i found the answer - Thanks!

Yes of course, you can take black coffee or tea during your fasting window in OMAD but never add sugar, milk or cream to it because the sweetener can cause insulin spike which ruins your fasting.

Hello, @bigjoey38 , and welcome to the OMAD forum ! It sounds like you are very goal-oriented, and I think that always helps a lot when trying a new project.
If you read through some of the information that Jimmy has put on the main page of this website, he covers all of the important things about living with one meal a day and fasting intermittently. You can also use the website search engine if you have questions that you haven’t see the answer to just by browsing, and of course, we discuss just about everything here on the forum, as well as offering plenty of support.
There is also a facebook group that is connected with this website, if you have facebook and enjoy the groups on there. Just click the facebook link on the main page to find the OMAD group.

I'm happy to have you around the forum. One of the best tip that I got when I began doing Omad was to remain committed. As long as you are committed to what you are doing, there is that likelihood of success being your portion at the end of the day.

Thanks everyone... Today was day 2... I am drinking water like crazy,,,,which leads to bathroom use of course.. Ive been eating around 2:00 PM so still trying to find my window 12-4 or 2-6.... .. I find I am slightly hungry at night but not that bad. I will be on the road this week so hope to stay on it.

Hi and welcome to OMAD. So glad that you decided to come and us here in this forum. What I could suggest you is to drink plenty of water althroughout the day. It can help you to flush away the unnecessary toxins in our body. It can also help you to lose weight especially when you drink water first thing in the morning. Also, just stay motivated and always remember on why you even decided on joining OMAD. On that way, you won't lose your way towards your goal. Goodluck!

Welcome @bigjoey38. The first step is knowing you need this diet to cut down on your weight. Next you follow it strictly. You can combine it with keto for fast results.

Do exercises too and take plenty of fluids. Good luck there.

Welcome to the forum dear friend!
I'd suggest you to start jogging, at least 30-45 minutes a day, that's how I began to lose weight. You don't have to do it all at once, but slowly, perhaps with breaks. Just go outside and get that heart pumping.
