Green Vegetable Juice.

Does anybody have any involvement with taking green vegetable juice for wellbeing? From what I've perused, seen, done and observed most squeezing incorporates some segment of organic product to make it more tasteful, as found in the narrative fat, wiped out. Anyway I'm not especially keen on what goes on when individuals drink that sugar water let's not go there again. Has anybody done squeezing with green low carb veges as it were?

I heard somewhere that eating fruits and vegetables might still be a bit more beneficial because when you blend it you break down the fibers too much, although I haven't really looked into it much further so I don't know if that's just a myth or not but it does sound sensible. However, I guess if it's a choice between drinking your vegetables and not having any at all I guess it really is at least a good option to have, and there are even a lot of pre-packaged ones out there that taste great and are all natural and organic although they do tend to be a bit expensive.

I love to make juices out of vegetables as much as I like to eat them. I don't always eat but I always try to drink everyday such as the malunggay juice. I blend it or just make tea out of it. Sometimes I air-dry it for three days to preserve it. I always believe that drinking and eating natural fruits and vegetables are always better than those processed foods.

How do you make such a juice drinkable? I know it is very easy with fruits since they are naturally sweet especially when they are very ripe but uncooked which is not the same case with vegetables. some have the sourest of saps and tasting it can make you even vomit if not used to and no additives are added.

There is nothing wrong with doing that as long as you try to take food that will make it look complete. As someone that is doing Omad, I always see taking of tea, vegetables juice and the rest as supplement to the food that I eat.

If I were to chose between vegetable and fruits I will go to fruits. I eat vegetables but I dont like vegetables juices. I've tasted one. My mom makes vegetable juice. She's taking it as herbal drink. It has a bitter taste so I dont prefer it. I'd rather eating vegetable than drinking them.

What my mother normally did for me when I was still a teenager and not feeling well, she would steam lots of green vegetables and give me to eat. It's said to help in boosting the blood circulation and production in the body. But generally, I now prefer fruits more.

My father used to make malunggay juice. At first, I really hate its taste that he had to make us drink forcefully. But then I realized how healthy it is to our body. Malunggay is a vegetable that can be found easily on the backyard. It is good for maintaining good health as it provides a lot of vitamins that our body needs.

I prefer eating fruits as well. If I'm to choose between fruits and vegetables, I would easily go for the former being fruits for the obvious reasons. I have easy access to fruits more than I do with vegetables. And with fruits, I get to eat it immediately without needing to cook or steam it unlike the way I do with vegetables.

Vegetable juices are great for our body. When I make a smoothie or blended juice, I mostly use mango and cucumber as base flavor then I would add green leafy vegetables like spinach. Right after I drink it, I would surely feel energized and full. I used to consume this during my eating window. When I started consuming the juices I make, a week after that my skin has looked even healthier and my sleep has become better than before.

I'm not really a fan of vegetable juice but I took out time to research more about it and it seems to very nutritious and a very good detox drink.

I'm going to prepare one today with cucumber, spinach, apple, celery and kale all blended together. I'm really looking forward to enjoying this drink in the evening.

There is actually a difference between mixing greens with fruit, and mixing fruits and vegetables. Greens are closer to what we consider leaves and grasses, than they are to being a vegetable.
What is actually a vegetable, are mostly what we consider a root vegetable, like a potato, carrots, turnip, or beets. Some other examples that are not root vegetables might be things like broccoli, cauliflower, or Brussels sprouts.
Many of the foods that we consider to be a vegetable, such as tomatoes and cucumbers, green peppers, or squashes, are actually the fruit of that plant, so they are really a fruit and not a vegetable.
Food combining says that we should not mix fruits and vegetables, but we often do, when we have meals with a vegetable , and then maybe some kind of fruit for dessert.

Mixing either a fruit or a vegetable with greens is perfectly fine, so making something like a green smoothie with fruit and greens works out great.
One of my favorite juice drinks is fresh carrot and pineapple juice, which does involve mixing fruit and vegetables.
I do think that when we are making a juice or a blended drink, it can digest faster; so it is okay to mix in some vegetables with the fruit, but it probably depends with each person, and how strong their digestive system is.

Personally I hate this juice, but I cannot second the healthiness of it. My father used to make me drink it when I was younger. He said it would improve my metabolism. I was very obese during the school years and it helped me to stop gain weight at least.

It sounds like the drink that you had as a child was not very tasty, @Alania . Maybe it was the way your father prepared it, or the ingredients that he used. Definitely a mixture of vegetables only, no matter how healthy, is not going to taste very good usually.
If you have not read the book by Victoria Boutenko, called “Green for Life”, you might want to read that for more information about making green drinks that are both healthy and delightful to drink.
When I was a little girl, my mother would make carrot juice in the blender, and she mixed it with fresh carrots and added pineapple juice, and it was delicious, and probably my favorite thing to drink.
