Drinking Mineral Water and OMAD

Drinking Mineral Water is encouraged when doing OMAD because it helps our body in getting proper nutrition like calcium and other vitamins and minerals. Drinking alot of water also helps in expelling sweat and wastes from our body and hydrates it.

Well stated,I drink fluids alot to stay hydrated and it has really been helpful. I make sure to get fresh water at least 8glssses daily this will help freshen not just my inside but even my outer skin as well.

I didn't know that water mineral is so good in OMAD diet, I was avoiding any drink that contains bubbles. I prefer to drink a lot of water and some tea from time to time.

When you say mineral water, is it the expensive water in the bottle? I sometimes buy mineral water that costs more than 3 times the price tag of common purified water. I know there is a big difference but my question is this – is there a guarantee that the mineral water will give me the vitamins that I need for the day?

People always talk about vitamins but they often tend to ignore the importance of minerals. Minerals such as magnesium, potassium, iron, and zinc are all absolutely essential when it comes to maintaining a healthy, fit body.

Potassium in particular is really important when you’re trying to lose weight. Potassium, along with the help of magnesium, helps build muscle, boosts metabolism and energy, and helps stave off excess fluid retention.

This is why it’s important that we have a balanced diet rich in dark leafy vegetables, grains, and nuts, as these foods contain some of the highest concentrations of minerals. Mineral water certainly helps act as a bonus source, but I wouldn't depend on it too much.

I didn't know that it has a lot of benefits. All along I thought that being hydrated is enough. But I guess this will be more beneficial for those who do strenuous activities. And I have to agree that the benefits of minerals are often overlooked.

It is a well known fact of science that our body is made up of 60% water. Water regulates everything in our body, right from the blood volume and blood flow, carrying of enough oxygen for proper functioning of the organs, aiding our excretory system to regulate and expel waste, for good gut health and proper functioning of the intestines. The goodness of water for our body is plenty and we all cannot survive without water.

When we drink enough water everyday, which is the normal 2-3 liters per day, our body metabolism increases. The more metabolic activity, the more fat burn and thus helps in weight loss and cholesterol maintenance. Water is the prime carrier of nutrients to our body cells and hence aids with muscle development and protein structures in our body. When we drink 2-3 liters water everyday, we can observe that all our bodily functions happen on time, right from morning bowel movements to timely hunger.

I am a self proclaimed heavy drinker BUT water drinker. During my one meal per day, the more I drink the more I can eat. I am not really sure why I am like that I base my food intake on how much water there is. For example I am on a trip, If I have a glass of drink, I can only eat one serving but if the drink is unlimited, I can eat loads of food.
I just love to drink. Although I do not drink alcohol.
Anyways, any one here who has tried drinking alkaline water? I heard it is beneficial too?

Drinking minerals are to encouraged when one is on diet. It helps to keep the body well hydrated and with all the nutrients you get from drinking such mineral drinks will keep you refreshed and healthy.

Taking enough water will definitely help to reduce the availability of toxins in your system. I always take my water bottle to work and it makes me to drink water often.

Our body runs on water. Dissolved food move in the body through water. Sweat which cleans body pores is water too. We should have enough wster to avoid dehydration. Mineral water is therefore good as it adds water and minerals to the body.

I agree on this. I always drink mineral water because I can't just drink any tap water since I have a sensitive tummy. I also include it in my diet, and it really helps. What I do is I drink a cup of mineral water first before intaking anything in my body and drink a cuo water again before going to bed. I could sa it is really effective for me. I've heard that it helps our body to detoxify and cleanse, that's why I really prefer this on diet.
