Do's and Dont's of Eating one Meal a Day

The two things I do alot with OMAD is staying hydrated and still working out.I keep my water and sip from it almost all day.I have tried to do away with other fluids I'm trying to be used to water and I know it will be more beneficial to my body and my weight loss journey than juices and I also work out a lot. This lifestyle is really the best if one really want to stay focus with eating just once a day

Here’s my do and don’ts. Just eat one meal a day. Eat anything you want, assuming your not diabetic. And eat it all within 1 hour. I’m 64, been doing this for 184 days. If your having people over, or going out, be social and eat with them. In my 184 days and counting, I’ve been through thanksgiving and Christmas and the new year. I’ve added an extra meal or appetizer or 2, about 4 or 5 times. No biggy. Keep it simple, we are not on a “diet”. We just usually eat omad.

I think that what you are saying is exactly how OMAD should work, @Mark1 , and it sounds like it is working for you just fine. I think that different people have different ways that they need or want to eat,
I seem to do better when I avoid refined carbs like sugar and flour, and just get my cabs from veggies; but I have seen other people who enjoy burgers and fries, and even pasta, pizza and cake, and still seem to lose weight just fine.
I guess it depends on how our metabolism and digestive system works, and maybe on how much exercise we get.
In any case, as long as we are following some manner of OMAD, we are doing a healthy thing for our body.

When I used to do OMAD few years ago my primary problem was having a walking in the middle of a city, seeing all the cafes and restaurants. These are no go zones for me. Would tickle my stomach!
