This helps a lot ma'am. Thank you. I'll keep this one as my Do's and Dont's list, as I am just starting my Omad diet again.
It's just too difficult to avoid temptation. But as long as I am into my plans, I can do this. I'll stick into it this second time around.
Anyway, if these are just the basics, do you mind if I ask you ma'am for more tips?

You might try eating in an 8-hour window 3 times for a week, then 2 meals per day in a 6-hour window, then 1 meal and one healthy snack in a 4-hour window, etc. Whittle it down slowly. You might find that you reach a point where you are fulfilling your health goals with 2-3 meals a day and then you can stay there. I find I really need to stay at OMAD and then add a healthy smoothie on some days as long as I stay within a 4-hour window of eating. Just start somewhere and whittle it down to the least amount of meals you need to sustain your health goals.

very wise words... just start somewhere.. key words : JUST START.. you can wiggle around and adapt to your body and lifestyle.. there are no hard and fast rules with intermittent fasting.. listen to your body, not your mind cause the 'voices' in there can sabotage you!! :)

Alright @Becky, thanks so much for this little information. I'm going to try managing it from the perspective of the suggestion that you have given me here to see how my meal eating pattern adjustment goes. I really appreciate the help, because it means a lot to me.

Here are some do's and don'ts during OMAD Diet.Do's-keep on drinking water or stay hydrated, exercise regularly or go to gym for workouts, keep on eating healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables.Don'ts-don't use OMAD if you have medical condition such as diabetes and lastly avoid eating unhealthy foods such as junk foods and avoid too much sweets.
Are you not feel hungry after the workouts? I think you really motivated doing this OMAD. I'm not yet in OMAD diet but the simple workouts and even after play sports, I really feel hungry, what more in one meal a day diet.

To achieve OMAD, you should drink plenty of water and keep yourself busy. Keeping yourself busy helps your mind not to focus on hunger but on other things. Trick your own mind and start motivating yourself
Keeping yourself motivated and busy when on a diet can be a bit difficult. I've had days when all I could think about was food. And I tend to think about food more when I'm on a diet! The psychological factors play a great role in the success of a diet.

The smallest of workouts makes my entire body shake like I'm starved for days but I still try as much as possible not to give into the urge to eat as my body is aching for after exercising because eating in such manner would render my workouts useless.

I think I really need more motivation before doing this, but well, honestly, I don't need to the diet program, and I want to gain more weight, I'm just curious about how this omad works.

Be careful with desiring to gain more weight because at times things goes so wrong that you would gain more weight than you bargained for. Unless you are too skinny, then you have nothing to worry about with wanting to gain weight.

The truth is that the human body and mind is fashioned in such a way to desire something that is denied it, so it's only natural that when you put yourself on a diet, you are definitely going to be craving for more food to eat. It has happened to me several times but I still found a way to get past the urge.

Whenever you are craving, drink water, tea, or black coffee. Drinking will help you feel full and will make you forget your cravings. Also, please don't forget to satisfy your cravings once in a while so that you won't feel deprived and miserable. You can eat whatever you want with moderation.

Not really skinny but, my metabolism really works fast, even I eat a lot, I never gain weight, I maintain my weight. Maybe the reason why is my working schedule, having not enough sleep at night helps me not to gain weight.

Thank you! I hope it helps you. I know I need a plan like others on here and having that 16-hour break from food per day while I am awake is just the break I need to feel back in control of my eating habits.

Yes, that's the way our bodies work. We crave whatever we can't have. And sometimes as soon as we get it, we no longer want it. I've had this happen to me so many times. But it's always good to fight that urge and control yourself.

Exactly. Self control is everything when you want to be good in anything that you are doing. When we can't control our urge and eat just about anything we see, then it wouldn't take time before we suffer from obesity.

Alright. I hope it goes well for you too. Every living human being strives to get himself or herself in a good shape because it's the only way we can make sure that we look and feel healthy.

I see. It's possible that having a tight schedule might be one of the reason why you can't seem to gain weight. Probably, from working too much, your body always metabolizes anything that you eat. Staying awake for too long and having few hours of sleep means that your system works more often and there is no way you could add weight when the body isn't well rested.

Yeah, that's right, and actually I think even two bottles beer is not enough for me to gain weight. I just feel heavy without sleep, but I regularly check my weight in the pantry in our office and my weight still the same. I think two to three hours sleep a day is gonna be a good diet program. LOL. :)

Haha, I seriously understand exactly what position that you have found yourself in because I have been in such spot before. It's never easy going on for long hours on daily basis without getting some good hours of sleep. I understand that you have lots of responsibilities that makes you stay awake for too long but I would advise trying to slow down a bit but if you don't, you are definitely going to break down sooner or later.

That's why during my rest days, I will surely sleep as long as I can, but I notice that, I'm much more looks haggard and exhausted if I sleep more than 8 hours, I feel that, I did something heavy and looks like really tired.

I love the article great tips specially the "Don't Complicate Things" part. It's nice to know that OMAD is not that hard and you only need basic methods to accomplish your goal. What can be more basic than having enough sleep and always keep hydrated? These things are simple yet essential in OMAD.
