Does yoga help you lose weight?

What kind of yoga? Do you just stretch (you know, the slow kind of yoga) or you do the HIT kind of yoga? I watched some videos on Youtube I find it quite hard. HIT yoga is quite similar to HIT cardio.
I do the slow ones as instructed by my gym instructor,it mustn't be anything hard to avoid getting tired repeating it.My instructor try to make it as enjoyable as possible for us.
 
Yoga is a type of physical fitness activity. Hence, it is one of the most effective way to lose weight. Personally, I have tried it and I can say that it is very effective. It is actually a good option for people who are into OMAD diet because yoga is not as tiring compared to hardcore exercises. You will really have fun at the same time your burning calories.

Well Yoga has different directions, mostly it's breathing and gymnastics. I highly doubt it can help you lose weight by much. In order to lose weight you either gotta do cardio exercises or intense muscle training.
