but i can only eat 2 cups of anything
at one time
so with the caloric needs for my age
its 1600 sedentary activity level

what foods are 600-800 a cup?
my search is coming up with recipe

Hi Pinkbell. I'm not sure that I understand what you are asking here. Are you looking to eat your meal with no more than 1600 calories?

Since I am trying to lose weight, I never want to eat as much as I use at a sedentary level in calories, @pinkbell . I actually am trying to stay under 1000 calories each day, but I use Carb Manager app, and that helps me keep track of everything I ate, as well as the nutritional content.
An easy way to add more calories would be to add some coconut oil either with your meal, or in your coffee, making bulletproof coffee.
I often do that in the morning before going to the fitness center to exercise.
Strictly speaking, adding the coconut oil does break the fast, but since there are no carbs, it does not spike insulin, and we all need the medium chain triglycerides that coconut oil has.

More protein would add more calories for you as well, depending on what you are already getting in your meal.

i have carb manager too
are you doing low carb omad?

Mostly, that is what I am doing. I eat salads because they don’t have a lot of calories or carbs in them, and some kind of protein along with it. Some days, I just do any kind of meal, when we are going to have lunch somewhere; but that is the exception, and not the rule.
If you need to get 1600 calories and not have more than two cups, heavy foods like meat or beans, with added butter or oil, might be the easiest way.
Unless you are strictly doing OMAD for the fasting benefits (as opposed to losing weight), maybe alternating some days with a regular eating day, or a 16:8 intermittent fasting schedule on those days, and then OMAD on the other days ?

By the way, I just started an OMAD section in the Carb Manager forum, in case you are active in that forum. They have groups for just about everything else low-carb there, and maybe some of those people will also try the link I left for this forum/website.

It seems like with the cold weather we are having, my body just wants to go into hibernation, and even though I am still exercising just about every day, and eating the same amount basically, I have been gaining weight slowly . I have been eating more hot meals, where in the warmer weather, just a salad with some protein and good veggies seemed to be all that i wanted.
Now, I often have a hot mug of broth along with the salad, and I am drinking more hot coffee, too.
When I swim , I usually burn off around 900-1000 calories according to my Apple Watch, and I try to stay around 1000 calories with my meals, so I am not sure how I can be gaining weight, but I am.
I don’t want to cut my calories any lower than this, either.
