Dark Chocolates are great supplements when taken twice or thrice a week because it regulates the blood pressure and lowers the cholesterol levels.
I agree with you,I was told this by my instructor because I never knew about this,I think one just need to take them sparingly though,it shouldn't be an everyday consumption
I take just a bar a week I'm trying to reduce a lot of things I consume lately,I really want to have more visible changes in my weight loss journey.Your correct of eating eat sparingly, a bar a week is already considered healthy but I usually eat 2-3 bars a week. It has a lot of antioxidants that helps our bodies maintain a youthful skin.
The main thing which makes dark chocolate so healthy is the increased cacao concentration. This is why the more bitter the dark chocolate is, the healthier it's going to be. The average person eats dark chocolate at a concentration of about 45% cacao, which honestly isn't all that much. To get the real benefits, anywhere between 70-90% cacao is recommended.
I personally skip the middle man and just take pure cacao, in the form of a hot cacao drink. I mix pure cacao with a bit of coconut oil, peanut butter and honey, and stir it all together with some water. Milk enhances the flavor (as it does with most hot chocolate drinks) but I choose to use water due to a minor lactose intolerance.
We all do and I don't think we will jeopardize our journey with indulging in it once in a while. I sometimes take a bar for a whole month that's because I take very little per time.I love chocolate too but in moderation.I don't know if eating small bits becomes a whole bar. But I think I eat less than a bar. Sometimes I don't even have them. I guess I'm okay with not eating chocolate frequently. But I still like it.
