Drinking a lot of liquids while eating OMAD...is it right or wrong?

I would like to know your opinion on whether drinking a lot of liquid while eating on OMAD is better than drinking Less liquid.

My take on it is that one should drink less liquids while eating, because drinking a lot would give me a feeling of fullness and therefore I won't eat so much.

I think water s essential if you want to succeed in any diet or if you want to live a healthy lifestyle. I would recommend that you sip on buckets and buckets of water through out the day. This will keep you going and ensure you don't feel weak and sick. Stop about 2 hours before you're due to eat so that your stomach can clear. Don't have water with you food. After your eating window you can start to have water again if you need to. I normally have hot water after food and before eating I sip of cold or lukewarm water.

I don't think it anything bad, because water has zero calories and it helps to cool and hydrate the body,so I believe one can drinks loads of pure clean water without any flavor or sweetener added to it.

In my opinion, I think much better not to drink more water while eating your food in OMAD because it will help you to eat more and stay full until the next day. Just drink more water while waiting for your meal.

In my opinion, it's okay. It's because drinking water is healthy instead of colored or flavored drinks. Water also makes you feel full and your body won't feel hungry. It is also very good to keep your body hydrated at all times.

I definitely agree!

DURING my eating window I try not to drink much or even at all if I don't feel the need to.
Otherwise one of 2 things might happen... I won't eat enough because the water filled me up a little, or I will eat the same amount I typically eat but feel way too full afterwards.

So I drink as much as possible through my fasting window and then avoid it during my eating window. This has helped me soooo much!

Drinking a plenty of water is recommended when you are keeping the OMAD, actually drinking a lot of water is good for our healthy no matter if we are keeping a diet or not.

Yeah, but what about during your eating window, do you drink a lot of water when your eating?

I drink minimal water on my eating window so that I can get the most food I can, in my system. I would be needing a lot of energy for the day and Drinking on my eating window will give me a feeling of fullness.

Drinking water is a good to keep you hydrated and i think it's good even with OMAD. Also its a good alternative for sudden cravings and hunger. Drinking water will keep you energized through out the day specially with OMAD.

Drinking a lot of fluids is necessary even when not on a diet, and especially in OMAD since it can help alleviate hunger for some who are still new to the program, and also keeping hydrated will make you feel better throughout the day.

I drink a lot of fluids throughout the day, as it is super important to stay hydrated, but not necessarily as much with my one meal. Drinking liquids before and after a meal is good for the average diet where you eat multiple times a day, because you end up feeling fuller faster which is good for reducing caloric consumption. That's not a good thing with OMAD, in my opinion, because you want to have the room necessary to relatively meet your caloric needs for the day. If I'm already feeling full after a small meal, I don't think that is nearly adequate to last me through the whole day.

Drinking plenty of water can make you feel full. Thus it will help you avoid eating. Based on what I have read, our kidneys can eliminate 20-28 liters of water a day, but they can't get rid of more than 0.8 to 1 liter per hour. So make sure not to consume 1 liter of water per hour. That might be bad for your body.

I am a water drinker although I prefer something sweet sometimes like fruit juice or soda. Drinking lots of water cannot harm you. In fact, I think more water is better for the body because water is a cleansing agent that will be healthy for your kidney and digestive system. Besides, when you drink water the hunger is dissipated somehow. But maybe I will settle for water with lemon drops just to deaden the bland taste of pure water.
