Why fiber is an important part of your diet

Agree with that. We really need the fiber or extract from some fruits and vegetable, to stay healthy and fiber will sustain the vitamins that we need when we are in a diet program specially the one meal diet. Even we don't eat a lot, this fiber is enough for our body.

When I did OMAD diet I usually eat apples, oranges and vegies. Those are rich in fibers. I eat it in breakfast together with my DIY juice. It really helps me survive my one month diet. I only did OMAD diet for a month.

All these fiber foods are good for the diet. When we eat them, after such a meal, we are not hungry for a long time. They are also good for our mood. They act positively and calm us.

Fiber is significant on your diet because it will help in making your stomach full for a long time especially if you are on omad diet. It will sustain you for hours and it will assist on fat and calorie burning.

I agree with the sentiments about fiber. Fiber is definitely a must have for any diet. I think its especially required on the OMAD diet. From my experience fiber keeps you full for longer. You also can't eat that much of food high in fiber. People eat more crisps then celery. I have also found that it helps alot with your digestive system. Its not uncommon with this diet to get constipation and have a problem with relieving yourself. Anyone who has ever gone through this knows its a very uncomfortable position to be in. Thats why filling up on fiber is your best bet.

Hello, jaymish! I agree with you. Have you read the article about eating fibrous foods and increasing water intake will cause constipation? The writer wrote convincing rationale why it can cause that. Because of that, I'm now confused with what to follow.

Many people consider different nutrients when thinking of a healthy diet, but I feel like sometimes fiber is forgotten! I find that when I eat high fiber foods, I'm always feeling fuller for longer - which means my urge to snack is diminished pretty substantially. We eat a lot of those fiber rich foods in this household, especially blueberries and broccoli! Superfoods!

True! High-fiber foods make the stomach feel fuller for hours which is a good thing.

I agree with you. Fiber is an important part of our daily needs whether we are on a diet or not. I also think that this is necessary in the OMAD diet. Here are some amazing benefits of fiber:

1. Promotes good metabolism.
2. Healthy bowel movement.
3. Good for the heart. It lowers bad cholesterol.
4. Aids in achieving ideal body weight. Fiber enrich foods tends to be more filling than low- fiber foods, so you're likely to be satisfied longer and in turn eat less.

It really help our body especially in digesting the food we take. It helps our metabolism works very fine. Just like the rabbit needs alfa alfa weeds, we as human need fiber to help digest our food.

Fiber is Really Helpful into Our Body and Fiber is Good into Our Body Because When You Eat Foods High in Fiber,Such as Tomatoes and Whole Grains The Sugar in Those Food Absorbed Slow. Which Keep Our Blood Glucose Level so Fast And i Think Eating beans or Apple Is Good To Fiber and To our Body.

Fiber is important in your body to the extent that it is facilitative in the digestion process. Fiber helps move the food across the digestive system. It also helps one avoid constipation.

The most fibers I take are mainly found in vegetables. I cannot say that I take a lot of fruits but I try to every now an then. However with this information I can see what I can take to be on a proper OMAD fiber diet.

I enjoyed reading this article :). It is very informative and it enlightened me more about Fiber. Thankfully, I love oats, berries, and almonds. These fiber-enriched foods are always included in my grocery list. But for pears and apples, I always eat these fruits without skin on.

For me i like the option of veggies. I have them incorporated in almost each and every meal including breakfast. I love them cooked nicely nonetheless.

I've noticed that oatmeal helps with digestion. That's because it contains a good amount of fiber. This is important to keep us feeling full and properly digesting foods.

Pretty much the same way. There is no reason to lose all the nutrients by overcooking. Vitamins especially are ruined by too much heat which is why though I cook i never overdo it.
