I'm drinking pickle juice, I'm wondering if that's okay? Also, is chicken broth ok? I know bone broth is ok, but wondering if the calories will break the fast.

Bone broth is good in OMAD and chicken broth with the feet and bones are the best. I also drink beef bone broth with the bone marrow, it's so satisfying.

I've been drinking a lot of Ginger and Turmeric tea which strengthens my cardio and digestive systems. It's also a good weight-loss tea.

Im also drinking Ginseng Tea which has a lot of antioxidants and which gives me a lot of energy.

I take the normal tea as that is one of the ways that I feel active during the day despite the challenges of having to reduce how much that I eat.

I like alot of water with mine. I have tried those slim fast shakes and they are gross! I have not found one that I like yet. My one meal is supper. Sometimes I will eat 3 small meals instead of one big meal.

What I drink in my OMAD are protein shake It really help me alot to lose some weight and give me energy to rest of the day. Protein shakes which is made with protein powder such as whey protein is not only low in calories and fat but serves as a rich source of nutrition for my OMAD lifestyle. If you want to lose some weight, it can help by giving you alot of protein for a relatively small number of calories. This means that combination with a heavy exercise and one meal a day, you're less likely to lose muscle and more likely to burn fat. As long you you keep your calorie intake low.

Fresh milk or regular milk is another drink that is perfect to get the goodness of calcium which is essential for healthy bones and teeth. One can also get Vitamin D from cow's milk and both calcium and vitamin D helps prevent osteoporosis. It has milk protein as well and I believe that milk is one of the best muscle foods on the planet because of the quality protein it has that can be quickly broken down into amino acids and ready to be absorbed into the bloodstream.

If the meal is a pleasant one, not done in a hurry and among the family members. I'd like to drink some cola like coke . But if it's a routinary meal, water or coffee is still the best drinks for me. I just try to minimize my softdrinks intake because it has a lot of sugar. The specialist told me that it's safer to drink the white colored softdrinks than the dark ones. A bit of helpful advice there.

Probably not a good idea but I drink soda with my OMAD. I am trying to lose weight and this isn't helping but...I am still working on drinking less per week.

I do drink plenty of green tea during my fasting hours.

This is very encouraging to read that you drink Coke. My favorite soda is Mountain Dew which is not black but greenish in color while my husband likes Coke. Now I still drink soda regularly when the food is dry like fried or stew and I just take water when there is soup in the food. My concern now is the frequent dining treat from my colleagues due to occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. They will order lunch for everyone so I couldn’t resist to eat in big volume.

During my one meal a day, I either drink Unsweetened tea, green tea, or flavored water. I will usually drink my 16oz water bottle 15-20 minutes before I sit down to eat, and then another right after my meal.
