Vitamin and Mineral Supplements

Multivitamins are essential in any kind of diet because it gives the body the much needed vitamins and minerals when you're dieting using OMAD. Vitamins B Complex, C, and E are some of the vitamins the body needs and the best way to get these vitamins is by drinking multivitamin capsules, it's cheap and quick.

I prefer getting these vitamins directly from fruits. Fruits like kiwano, apples, oranges and avocado pear comes in handy. I am not a fan of processed vitamins.

When you are only eating once a day, it might be hard to eat enough variety of food to get all of the nutrients that your body needs, although eating a healthy who food diet will definitely give you more than if you are eating process foods and not fresh ones.
When you take any kind of supplemental vitamins, it is always best to take them along with your meal, because that way they are processed by your body along with the other food that you are eating.
If you just swallow a pill or capsule on an empty stomach, your body does not recognize it as food, and it does not get digested properly, and can sometimes just pass right on through your body without being used for vitamins.

In fact my avoiding of the tablets is for that reason. Taking it along with the food sounds fine. There is only one glitch here, doctors advice you swallow tabs after a good meal.

These mineral and vitamins actually comes in handy. It happens that the kiwano fruit has much of these supplements.

Agreed but sometimes getting 100 percent of your daily dose of vitamins and minerals through fruits and vegetables is very hard because you have to eat a lot of fruits and veggies. Also it depends on the availability of such fruits and veggies that's why a lot of people just drink multivitamins.

The reason one should take a good natural organic vitamin is all foods today, if not organic, first, are grown on large farms fertilized with nitrate base fertilizers. Which don't give nutrients to food to produce vitamins. And since the ground no longer has the minerals in it for the plants to absorb food has very little value. There is very little or no nutrients in the ground today. Second, the seeds we use are genetically altered, so our bodies don't know what to do with it. Third, when the food is harvest it goes to the manufacture to be stripped of any nutrients in it to make it into products then vitamins and minerals are added to it. Those vitamins and minerals are synthetic which the body can't or won't absorb. Anything that is boxed, wrapped, bottled and canned has little value. Fourth, fresh vegetable and fruits are nuked, which is mircrowaved, to kill parasites. If after all this and you understand can see why so many people are sick, have mental problems and the quality of life sucks. And last, anything you eat, drink, and breath is toxic. You want to know why so many people are fat, and that is both sexes.

Me too. I am not a fun of vitamins because most of these supplements won't make me sleep. I prefer eating fruits , fish and vegetables. that is where I get my daily intake of minerals needed in the body.

As much as possible I don't want to take any multivitamins. I prefer to take vitamins and minerals as natural as possible from fruits and vegetables. Multivitamins are already chemically processed unlike natural and organic fruits and vegetables.

Drinking multivitamins is really helpful for us who are taking up OMAD. It helps us to have energy throughout the day since we have lessen our intake of food. Incorporating it with our diet will provide us vitamins that we need for our health protection. It will be the best if we will eat vegetables and fruits while taking up vitamins so that we can make sure that we are in a good health.

I kinda agree with you on this. There is limited time for us to take fruits when we are doing Omad, so drinking these kind of multivitamins is something that will help anyone that is looking at keeping the body at a normal level to do so.
