Skipping meals cleanses the body

Skipping meals will give the internal organs some rest to heal and having no unhealthy food to process would make your body to burn fat and this causes weight-loss and cleanses your body.

Yes, it is not advisable to skip meals if you have classes to attend to as you will not be able to focus and your brain will not function well. In my case during college, we were doing it even during school days since we're used to it. But not everyday of course. We do it during special occasions.
I have been having this problem as well. I like the feeling of lightness because I don't have as much food in my system but for work it has been a challenge not having the same energy I used to have. I know I could just drink coffee but it keeps me up at night, so I think the obstacle is more due to my apprehension towards caffeine and not the fasting so I recommend anyone who finds it difficult to just drink coffee without sugar.

Skipping meals will only cut down on your daily calories intake. However, when you combine that with taking water, drinks, fruits and vegetables that can detoxify your system, there would be a process of cleansing. This means less food, lesser possible toxins and more cleansing.

Cleansing is a process that needs like an agent. Eating less will only reduce the amount of likely toxic substances in the body but it doesn't actually do the job. If you are seeking to cleanse your body, you can start by staying hydrated always.

Drink at least two litres of water daily. You can make detox water from a slice of lemon, cucumber and a glass of water. This is a great cleanser that can be taken through the day. You can also have a glass of warm water every morning. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables.

I had tried skipping meals when I was in college. It wasn't just a skip meal, it was like a school tradition. I will not explain any further about this "tradition". Anyway, they said that doing it cleanses our body and gives other health benefits. It's not exactly OMAD because we only skip one meal everyday. But yes, I guess they're right because we have this OMAD and thanks for introducing this to us.
Fasting is a fountain of youth everyone should try as the cellular repairs and brain cell production that happens could extend ones life by nearly 30%, if one extrapolates these very results by Dr Longo with lab mice.

Let's not get things confused between OMAD and skipping meals because they are practically different.

With OMAD, you have a feeding pattern which you stick to on daily basis but with just skipping meals, you can choose when to and when not to. So, I would say that skipping meals would have a negative impact on one's health.

You're right, that's a very good point. I have to admit even when I was already on OMAD I used to think they were pretty much the same but now that I'm a bit more experienced and knowledgeable about what I'm really doing here I now understand more what makes OMAD possible. I used to think that I'd feel much hungrier at night considering I'm just eating once a day but now I discovered the effect is opposite because since I've been eating less, I'm actually craving a lot less as well, which is what I think scares most people from trying this diet because the more common thought is that when you eat less you will feel more hunger.

Well, skipping meals really cleanses our body. Why? Because eating a lot means taking more toxic from food and skipping it will of course lessen the toxic you are taking. But is it good? Absolutely not. Skipping meals will help to cut calories and reduce weight. But it is bad because our body will be lack of every nutrients we need in our body. But skipping meals may be a good way too if you will talking about OMAD. Every skipped meals on OMAD diet is eventually regain from the its window time of eating.

The discussion made me thinking. If you plan to skip meals but planned like the intermittent fasting, the interstines will have time to clear the food in it thus have resting time. It will not be digesting all the time. The body will be cleansed because there will be no toxins

If your body get used to the diet plan, you will definitely stop feeling too hungry when it's not your eating window.

It's only in the beginning that one whose new to doing OMAD would be having hunger pangs because the system was used to eating very often. But as time goes on, you will get used to it and feel better doing it.

You are welcome to the forum! Yeah, skipping meals and eating the right ones each time you want to eat is one of the ways that your body will look as clean as ever. I don't joke with fruits when doing Omad as this is the way that I can have a meal of higher nutritional value.
