I used to run as a means of cardio, but I stopped after my treadmill broke. I know that I could just go outside and run like so many other people, but I’m somewhat of a self-conscious person and running outside in public doesn’t really appeal to me.
These days I ride my bicycle instead, which can be just as intense as jogging or sprinting. In any case, when I did have my treadmill I’d run a minimum of about 10 miles a day. I honestly never felt better in my life.
Running is a fantastic form of cardio, but the only problem is that it’s a pretty high impact exercise. Over time, running/jogging can result in some serious knee problems. This is why many doctors recommended low impact cardio exercises such as cycling or going on brisk walks.
