Dark Chocolates are great supplements when taken twice or thrice a week because it regulates the blood pressure and lowers the cholesterol levels.

I agree with you,I was told this by my instructor because I never knew about this,I think one just need to take them sparingly though,it shouldn't be an everyday consumption

Your correct of eating eat sparingly, a bar a week is already considered healthy but I usually eat 2-3 bars a week. It has a lot of antioxidants that helps our bodies maintain a youthful skin.

I take just a bar a week I'm trying to reduce a lot of things I consume lately,I really want to have more visible changes in my weight loss journey.

The main thing which makes dark chocolate so healthy is the increased cacao concentration. This is why the more bitter the dark chocolate is, the healthier it's going to be. The average person eats dark chocolate at a concentration of about 45% cacao, which honestly isn't all that much. To get the real benefits, anywhere between 70-90% cacao is recommended.

I personally skip the middle man and just take pure cacao, in the form of a hot cacao drink. I mix pure cacao with a bit of coconut oil, peanut butter and honey, and stir it all together with some water. Milk enhances the flavor (as it does with most hot chocolate drinks) but I choose to use water due to a minor lactose intolerance.

Dark chocolate is my favorite kind among other kinds of it. I also choose dark chocolate whenever I am baking or making that chocolate ganache for a cake or muffin. Some people don't really appreciate the bitter taste of dark chocolates as they don't really like the high cocoa content in it that makes it bitter as well. I like it because it has low sugar content and great for desserts. I am really not a fan of sugary sweet desserts.

I love dark chocolates but not aware of this benefit. Time to encourage my parents to buy more. This is good for them as well for avoiding hypertension.

Dark chocolates are one of the most healthy chocolates. I love eating dark chocolates. I love the bitterness and sweetness of it. It is my kind of chocolate.

Dark chocolates are healthy and are said to be good for the heart. But these chocolates are relatively more expensive than the usual ones and sometimes hard to come by in small supermarkets. I am not aware of the healthy/medicinal; components of dark chocolates but there are scientific citations to it. It tastes a bit bitter but it's chocolate nonetheless.

Base on my research their are 7 Proven Health Benefits of Dark Chocolate, first is very nutritious, powerful source of antioxidants, improve blood flow and lower blood pressure, raise HDL and protects LDL from Oxidation, May reduce heart disease, it can protect the skin from the sun and could improve brain function.

Yes there are health benefits and anyone could use it across on all sorts of desserts and other kinds of food and cooking procedure as it calls for a chocolate flavor. Probably the chocolate that has low sugar and high cocoa content and the reason for it's bitter taste which makes it a good reason for getting that chocolaty flavor. I mostly use this type of chocolate almost every week because I really like to bake something and put a drizzle of molten dark chocolate for a kick on flavor.

I am surprised to read this topic that dark chocolate can help in controlling cholesterol and blood pressure level. I am suffering from both issues and I am taking maintenance medicine for hypertension. With cholesterol, the doctor gave me medication for 2 weeks and after that I was on my own. Prevention is the best treatment for cholesterol, he said. Unfortunately, I have something on the side of my eyelids that look like skin tags. The doctor said those mass are actually cholesterol that needed surgery to be removed.

That's interesting. I've read that too. That's why many have chosen dark chocolate. Aside from the better taste, it has lots of health benefits. Though, I don't like the taste of of pure cacao. Maybe it's just the one I tasted. But it was really bitter even after adding milk. Hahaha!

I don't know if eating small bits becomes a whole bar. But I think I eat less than a bar. Sometimes I don't even have them. I guess I'm okay with not eating chocolate frequently. But I still like it. :D
We all do and I don't think we will jeopardize our journey with indulging in it once in a while. I sometimes take a bar for a whole month that's because I take very little per time.I love chocolate too but in moderation.

When I'm really craving for chocolates I will look for dark chocolates because it really is healthy to our body. I like the bitterness of it. Still, I regulate myself for eating too much because I'm afraid that it can ruin my diet.

Wow never know this one have a good thing in our body. I love dark chocolates and I got to think that they are bad because they are chocolates. But if they are real that can help us on something like you said then it will makes me love them more.

Using dark chocolate which is unsweetened is a whole different thing than the chocolate that comes in candy bars. Even the dark chocolate in a candy bar has a lot of added sugar, just not as much as the milk chocolate has.
I like adding a bit of the unsweetened pure cocoa into my morning coffee sometimes, as it adds that rich chocolate flavor, but does not have all of the sugar found in chocolate drink mixes, like Nestles Quick.

Dark chocolate is one of the foods that Jimmy recommends in his blog post as something to actually help suppress your appetite. If you like chocolates and want to add them into your OMAD diet in a healthy way , I definitely suggest perusing this blog article.
