Has anyone ever eaten past the one hour mark?

I just started. I did two meals a day for a week and it was good, but now on the third day of OMAD I got a bad migraine, so I switched back to two for a while.

Do's and Dont's of Eating one Meal a Day

Mushroom broth sounds good. You make your own or buy premade?

Changing feeding window with Omad and Intermittent fasting

Yes, I think early afternoon is the best to eat, but since I am gone all day, the only time I could do that is on some weekend days. Maybe I could do that, but then my fasting time would swing widely, which might be not such a bad thing. Mercola in his book Fat For Fuel writes, that variations...

    Flaxseed or Fish Oil

I read this book that claims fish oil is much better, because flax seed while contains lost of omega 3s, also has lots of omega 6s, which beats the purpose of having it as a supplement.

Bone Broth with Omad? Just wondering who is drinking it?

Thank you for reminding me about the broth. I have some I froze, and can make fresh one soon. I am actually thinking about getting g chest freezer, so I can buy larger amount of grassfed bones for better price for making my broth.

    Electrolytes and omad

I take my magnesium glycinate capsules on empty stomach without feeling nausea. And you can add pink salt and cream of tartar (it has potassium) to the drinking water. Search adrenal cocktail recipe online -they melt them in orange juice, but I just mix them with water and add camu for vit c part.

Magnesium and Omad? Does anyone supplement Magnesium?

I do supplement magnesium for probably 2 years now, way before OMAD. Mainly to prevent/stop migraines. I found, that magnesium citrate gives me diarrhea even in small amounts such as 300 mg (of elemental magnesium from magnesium citrate), and I try to take minimum 600 mg a day. I can easily take...

Has anyone ever eaten past the one hour mark?

Some people choose 2-3 hour window. I try to eat in one hour, if I can, because I eat at night and do not want to get too close to the bed time.

Do's and Dont's of Eating one Meal a Day

Which electrolytes do you use, Shelly? I made my own -cream of tartar, pink salt, and kamu in water , but I also take magnesium glycinate capsules. I looked at the ready ones, but most of them have very small amounts of potassium, magnesium and other minerals and are quite pricey. Also they use...

How to fit enough vegetables in one meal?

Yes, these are good ideas. I used to drink green smoothies, but they were mixed with mango or banana, so they would go down nicely...Now with keto, I can't do that. I could try entering on the weekend. Weighing it all and then entering takes time and I have very little of it. Come back home at...

Best time of the day to eat one meal?

Best is not to eat 3 hours before bed, but since I get back home most days at seven, and go to bed at ten, I have to finish eating around eight. Ideally though I would eat early afternoon, I think.

How to fit enough vegetables in one meal?

Dr. Berg recommends 7-10 cups of vegetables each day to make sure we get enough micronutrients. I counted -my large salad has 5 cups. Today I managed to eat my large salad and then one cup of asparagus. It left me so full, that I could barely eat my chicken salad, which had some celery also...
