A good friend of mine just got back from Korea few weeks ago and among the supplements he brought with when coming back was a Ginseng Tea. I have never taken Ginseng tea before but I have taken black tea.

I would like to know if anyone has taken this Ginseng Tea before to tell me about it because I take it. I really wouldn't want to have anything that wouldn't go well with my body.

Thanks.

I heard of Ginseng tea before. I believed that there are a lot of benefits with the Ginseng tea. I believe that Ginseng tea is good in treating headaches. It is also good for diabetic person and it also lowers our blood pressure.

Wow, that's nice hearing about the health benefits that comes with taking ginseng tea. I don't have blood pressure problem nor am I diabetic, but I can at least give the tea to some people I know that are plagued by diabetes and high blood pressure.

I'd never heard of it before - I drink a lot of tea, but had never heard of or tried ginseng tea. Sounds like it has quite a number of health benefits though, so I'll have to check locally and see if they sell it anywhere!

Ginseng tea is a traditional Chinese medicine and even used in events. Correct me if i'm wrong , but it is said that ginseng is a strength booster. It is also known to be an additive on some energy drinks.

I have heard ginseng tea for a while, seen it in lots of Korea and Chinese movies. I was very fortunate to have a friend get it for me but I have never seen anyone who has taken it before and it's the reason why I'm actually asking to see anyone that have taken it.

Exactly. From all the Chinese and Korean movies that I have watched so far, I have seen ginseng tea used as a medicine. I just have the feeling it's just a mere acting but it seems that the tea is actually working.

I've heard the advantages of ginseng tea touted. Here in my Country it is not sold as tea on it's own, it is sold as a flavor of black or green tea. So I assume that it is mixed with the two. Interesting facts though, I never knew I just thought it brought a different flavor to the tea.I also never knew that it was added to energy drinks.I will look into the benefits and see if I can add this to my diet. This also seems like a fantastic business idea. I've never seen it sold in my Country.

Exactly, the ginseng tea is not sold openly in the shopping mall because I have actually looked for it but no way to get it. It's only when someone travels and comes back that they get to bring me such tea but green tea is in abundance here but I wonder why ginseng tea isn't?

@Martinsx , all you have to know is that the numerous benefits of taking the tea is something that make the Korean people look young and strong. The thing is that you'll get to the point where you need to have control of the tea that you take.

Thanks @Henrywrites for that input. I really suspected as much that there is a good benefit to drinking ginseng tea, if not I don't think the tea would be in existence at all. It's a shame that the ginseng tea isn't very popular in our country, otherwise I would have the opportunity to drink it often.

I’m a big tea drinker so I’ve had ginseng tea before. One of my favorite combinations of tea was actually green tea, ginseng, honey, and lemon. It was a fantastic combination that was not only refreshing but gave me a noticeable energy boost. Ginseng is a fantastic supplement for vitality and energy, so I’d definitely recommend drinking it if you feel fatigued or just want to keep up your energy levels.

The effects are far more noticeable if you take it in the form of an extract, however. The nutritional company I worked for sold extracts in capsules, and a lot of people said that it helped them in terms of vitality and overall energy.

Thanks so much for this information @DenisP, it's definitely going to be very helpful to me in deciding to go on with drinking the ginseng tea. The combination of the tea you had looks interesting, I have never thought of it that way but I may give it a try.

Thanks again for this great information, it's going to be very helpful.

This is really helpful. I am looking for some drinks that can replace coffee. I am a coffee lover but recently I just decided to at least reduce my coffee intake. I was wondering of ginseng can be a replacement?

I'm not that familiar with ginseng tea but I think it originated in China. It is use as medicine and also natural supplement of the people in China back at the old age. That,s one of the best natural and healthy supplement. There are already ginseng capsule supplement today but I don't know if it's as effective like the old practice.

I used to enjoy taking coffee as well but recently I had an appointment with my doctor and after some test and observation, he told me that I have too much caffeine in my system. So, the doctor recommended that I reduce my caffeine intake and it's from coffee that I get 90% of the caffeine in my body.

Yes, ginseng tea is of Chinese origin and ever since then it has passed across continent as a result of its effectiveness when it comes to its health benefits. I read it helps to improve blood circulation and aids metabolism in the body. I haven't heard about ginseng capsules but if they actually exist, it's definitely going to be good as well.

I think I needed to reduce my caffeine intake too. It is not good for our body. I know that, but I cannot resist. I have to find ways to avoid coffee as well as I need to find alternative to my coffee. It will be difficult because I really like coffee but I love my health and body more.

The thing we all fail to know about drinking coffee a lot is that the caffeine in the coffee is actually addictive. Once one's body gets a hang of it, it's always difficult to stop drinking coffee and consuming more caffeine on daily basis.

It's actually a problem now for me and it's actually difficult to stop taking coffee because my body have gotten used to it. But I have no choice other than to fight harder to cut the addiction.

Same here. I think I got addicted to drinking coffee too. I find it hard to resist but I am trying my best to reduce my coffee intake that is why I am looking for some replacement for coffee. And as I have known, ginseng tea is healthier than coffee. i think I will try this one. Or if I can't find ginseng tea, I will just try green tea. I hope we can both get ourselves out of too much coffee intake.

Is it? I was about to see myself looking for ginseng tea, but reading your comment shocked me. Why ginseng tea is not openly available? Does ginseng tea can also cause harm? Is it why it is not openly available in the market?
